Alex made his directorial debut filming action men drown in his childhood pool. The film, unfortunately, was a flop.

Thankfully, his work has since screened at Cannes, SXSW, Virgin in-flight, ABC iview, The Commonwealth Games, Lifetime (UK), Webby’s, Rage & Kinsale.

Alex believes that the world will be right when we all figure out how to talk to each other. He’s hooked on drawing out the magic in the mundane, and the heightened documentary style of his work reflects that. His films are sparked by faces, places, childhood’s, hobbies, true loves - and what they all mean when you put them in a room together.

You’ll find Alex writing, directing and producing for a range of screen formats, carrying that lens of curiosity with him to every project.
